The HMFI insertion electromagnetic flow meter range is a cost effective and convenient solution designed to measure the volumetric flow of conductive liquids and slurries within closed pipelines. It can be used for applications in many industries, including water & wastewater, chemical, petroleum, power, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, pulp & paper, etc. The HMFI insertion electromagnetic flowmeter is the ideal instrument for measuring:
HMFI insertion mag meters are not affected by changes in line pressure, temperature, density and viscosity. Small amounts of solids and entrained gas in the flow stream will be measured as part of the overall flow.
Insertion probes are available for installation in pipelines from 6in to 120in. Typical applications are leak detection and pipe network analysis. Insertion mag meters are ideal for applications where there are cost constraints or space is limited. Probes can be installed in existing ports in pipelines, providing real cost savings over other in-line meter types.
