The Meat and Cheese pH probe system comprises of a standard combination high impedance pH with Refex double junction reference sensor installed in a hand held knife holder.
Used in the food industry, the Refex meat knife probe is used to check pH levels in raw meat and cheese products. Designed to cause minimal damage to the test subject, the probe is easy to use, easy to clean and maintain, and comes complete with a storage cap that covers the knife point and probe for safety and for probe life prolongation. The double junction reference cell is protein resistant and the knife holder is fully cleanable.
The knife point holder protects the pH probe and solves the problem of breaking fragile pH probes while in use. The system utilizes a high quality hand held pH monitor with probe diagnostic capability and easy to read display.
