Polidata is a fully automated software package for stand-alone and laboratory data acquisition and chemometric predictions for measurements and scans made with portable Polispec instruments. Scan data is immediately analyzed in chemometric models, providing instant results. It is available in various languages with interfaces for both tablet and desktop computers, and has two prediction engines: SensoLogic and UCal. Basic functions are:
Polidata is a fully automated software package for stand-alone and laboratory data acquisition and chemometric predictions for measurements and scans made with portable Polispec instruments. Scan data is immediately analyzed in chemometric models, providing instant results. It is available in various languages with interfaces for both tablet and desktop computers, and has two prediction engines: SensoLogic and UCal. Basic functions are:
- Quantitative chemometric analysis: using a chemometric model, a product can be analyzed with different sampling methods (single swipe, multiple swipe, multipoint). Analysis results are instantly available, can be exported in various formats (DAT, CSV/XML, compatible with different formulation software), and can be saved in an archive
- Analysis archive: data saved to the archive can be reviewed, compared to analyses on the same product type, and be used for printed reports
- Spectra acquisition: acquired spectra can be saved to create a dataset, with export formats such as SP3 (proprietary binary software) or CSV
- Instrument diagnostics:
Check cell: procedure to check proper spectral calibration on the instrument
Hardware check: confirms correct function of the main components of the instrument (buttons, fans, internal electronics)
Poliprocess
Poliprocess
Poliprocess is designed to be used with instruments permanently installed in industrial processes and machinery to provide continuous, real time product analysis and chemometric prediction. The software is modular and can be configured from standard modules and expanded with custom modules to adapt to specific needs. The standard modules are:
- GPS module: acquires NMEA position data from GPS antennas via serial connection to geo-reference analyses
- Datalogger module: saves analyses in CSV or KML (Keyhole Markup Language) formatted files
- ISObus module: manages analyses via a Virtual Terminal (VT) application; the acquired data are saved from the device task controller and can be exported in ISOXML file for use in most analysis platforms. The VT interface can be used to control the process completely: selecting the product (chemometric model), displaying instantaneous and average analysis of the process, and receiving notifications and alarms
- PLC module: reports measurement data to a PLC using different protocols: Modbus over TCP/IP, S7 and ISO over TCP/IP, or S7 (Siemens S7). Analysis values and system status are reported via a register set configured during installation
SP3 Manager
SP3 Manager
SP3 software is used to import spectra saved in SP3 (or CSV) format for further processing. The license free version allows users to open SP3 files and convert them into CSV format for spreadsheet manipulation.
Licenses are available to expand the package with additional functionality:
- Rename samples
- Create averages: creates averages of samples with the same name
- Export data: CSV, CSV for Matlab/Octave, DAT, CPF
- Analysis: using a chemometric model, selected spectra can be predicted and the results exported in CSV format or copied/pasted directly into a spreadsheet. Presentation can be configured to include statistical parameters of the analyses of each constituent
- Dataset: provides the ability to open an SP3 file and add additional analyses (by copying from a spreadsheet or importing in CSV format). The file created can be exported in DAT or CPF (SensoLogic) format
CMM/CME
CMM/CME
CMM software allows users to prepare chemometric models that can be used by Poliprocess. CMM includes an exclusive “global standardization” feature, a special algorithm developed to replicate/deploy the same calibration model on multiple instruments without having to adapt the instrument or the calibration curve itself.
CME (Chemometric Model Extension) software works with CMM software to enrich CP6 models with a number of functional extensions, including:
- Addition of a multilingual vocabulary for translating chemometric models and associated parameters
- Ability to add formulas to analysis reports
- Ability to thematically group results in reports
- Addition of information related to the chemometric model (units of measurement, range of values in calibration...)
PoliSDK
PoliSDK
poliADK is a Windows ADK for software developers. ADK provides the tools to independently manage Polispec settings, including calculation of optimal integration time. Reference acquisition procedure is also automated and used to apply pre-treatments such as smoothing or interpolation of spectra. The program allows extraction of raw and post processed spectral information.
ITPhotonics software is compatible with the SensoLogic and UCal Chemometric calibration suites.
